COVID-19 test kits that give results in 20 minutes were developed by researchers at IIT-Hyderabad. The kit was developed at a cost of ₹550 and it can be decreased to nearly ₹350 on mass production, researchers said. This test method is not based on the RT-PCR* method currently used for COVID-19, they added.
