Dexamethasone Drug : A Major Breakthrough
UK Scientists discover a £5 drug which can save lives of many covid-19 patients on ventilators for those in peril.They have described this as a "major breakthrough". The trials on covid-19 patients were conducted which was led by a team from Oxford University. This drug can lower the risk of the death by a third for patients on
ventilators. It can also cut deaths by a fifth for those on oxygen.This drug do not aid patients suffering with mild symptoms.Chief Investigator Professor Peter Horby said: "So far this drug proves to reduce mortality".
